Dress Code/Uniform

 

 

2025-2026 Treeline Elementary Dress Code

 

Pants/Bottoms: All pants/shorts need to be navy or khaki in color. Jeans are prohibited. Pants/bottoms must fit appropriately (not too loose or too tight) and must be worn at the waist with a belt if necessary. Pajama style, sport pants, sweatpants, stretch pants or drawstring pants are prohibited. 

Shorts: Must be worn at the knee. No athletic shorts. Must fit appropriately (not too loose or too tight) and must be worn at the waist with a belt if necessary. 

Capri Pants: Must fit appropriately (not too loose or too tight) and must be worn at the waist with a belt if necessary. 

Dresses/ Skirts: Must be khaki or navy in color and worn at the knee. Must fit appropriately (not too loose or too tight) with a belt if necessary. No slits above the knee. 

Tops/Shirts: Must be an oxford, button up or polo style with a collar, sleeves, and buttons. Solid colors only with no logos or brand names. Must be tucked in at all times. Must be fastened appropriately. No bare midriff shirts permitted. Treeline Spirit Shirts may be worn on Fridays or other designated days. 

Footwear: Sneakers are preferred. No Crocs, flip flops, boots, slippers, sport sandals, or open back shoes. 

Cold Weather Wear: Jackets, sweatshirts and sweaters must zip or button down the front with a dress code shirt underneath. Leggings are permitted beneath, dress code appropriate skirt and must coordinate with the uniform. 

Hoodies: Oversized hoodies/jackets are not permitted. Hoods may not be worn inside the building

Other Guidelines: 

No logos, emblems, or branding  

       • Any articles of clothing or jewelry that are excessive or could cause injury (including but not limited to belt chains, wallet chains, earrings, bracelets, rings, chokers, any spiked items, studded items or medallions) are prohibited. 

Adornments which are attached (pierced) to exposed body parts other than the ears are prohibited. Hair must be of natural color. Distractive hair coloring or hair style is prohibited. Belt bags/fanny packs, hats, caps, headgear, bandanas, hoods, sweatbands, or sunglasses are prohibited. There may be certain exceptions for medical conditions and/or physical education classes held outdoors. Such exceptions require administrative approval. 

Make-up is not allowed. 

Fingernails may be painted, but no fake fingernails. 

Clothing may not be torn, frayed, or altered from its original style. 

Treeline administration reserves the right to adapt this dress code based on changing fashions, trends, or individual student situations.
