Coqui Notes from the Principal
The Holiday Season is an exciting time for our students. The campus is decorated and ready for Santa and his elves to visit on Friday, December 8th. Students can dress up in their favorite Winter Wear with scarves, gloves, dresses, sweaters, etc. Students have the option to get their picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Claus for $5, cash or check made out to Treeline.
During the week of December 12th, students can use their Coqui Cash for being respectful, responsible and safe to purchase an item from the Christmas Coqui Store. Teachers will have the items in their classrooms for students to select.
Our next big event, Jingle Jam, is on the evening of Friday, December 15th. Jingle Jam will be filled with dancing, crafts, a silent auction and food trucks. More information is listed on the flyer below.
Field Days are scheduled on the following days for each grade level.
Monday, December 18th: Kinder & 1st Grade
Tuesday, December 19th: 2nd & 3rd Grade
Wednesday, December 20th: 4th Grade
Thursday, December 21st: 5th Grade
More information on field days will be sent home shortly. If you would like to volunteer to lead a field day station, please contact Angela in the front office for more information.
December brings another fun-filled day on Friday, December 22nd. This is an early dismissal day at 1:10 and a Holiday Dress-Up Day for students. Please note the dress code pictured below for out-of-uniform days. Parent pick-up tends to take longer due to Coqui Club being unavailable on this date and more students being car riders.
Many exciting activities will be happening in and out of classrooms to include fun, team-work andlearning together.
I wish you and your family a joyful Holiday Season.
Mrs. Wilcken
