What a whimsical week we just shared! Thing One and Thing Two certainly left their mark on our halls as we celebrated the magic of Read Across America Week. It was a joy to see our students dive into new stories, and we hope you enjoyed some cozy reading time at home together. As we wrap up the 3rd quarter and catch our breath before the final stretch, let’s keep that academic spark alive! Learning doesn't just happen at a desk; you can find "teachable moments" everywhere—whether you're counting change at the grocery store, measuring ingredients in the kitchen, or spotting license plates on a road trip. Let's finish the year strong by turning everyday adventures into opportunities to grow.

Leader in Me 🎯	Habit 7 - Sharpen the Saw means that we operate best when our lives are balanced. This week’s character trait is “Gracious,” which means that I am kind to myself and others. I can practice Habit 7 by being gracious to myself. I pay attention to my needs and I find ways to recharge so that I don’t become overwhelmed.  How can we be gracious while celebrating our differences? Check out this family activity and get some AR reading done at the same time (Synergize!).
Bunny Pictures are Coming!!! 🐰	When: Thursday, March 12th Where: Treeline Elementary Cost: $5.00  Send $5.00 cash or check (made out to Treeline) to your child’s teacher the day of pictures. Pictures will be taken on Thursday, March 12th and will be distributed following spring break.
Health Screening🪥👀	🪥We are excited to announce that the Dental Bus will be visiting Treeline on April 13th and 14th! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to receive convenient dental screenings and care right here at school. Permission Slips: Keep an eye on your child’s backpack! Permission slips will be sent home shortly. Please complete and return these promptly if you would like your child to participate. (Be aware, if you have insurance, this screening would count as your yearly check up.) 👂 Vision and Hearing Re-screenings If your child missed our initial screenings or requires a follow-up, we will be conducting Vision and Hearing re-screenings on March 26th. Ensuring our students can see and hear clearly is vital to their success in the classroom!

¡Qué semana tan creativa y divertida acabamos de compartir! El Cosa Uno y el Cosa Dos (Thing One and Thing Two) definitivamente dejaron su huella en nuestros pasillos mientras celebrábamos la magia de la semana de Read Across America. Fue un placer ver a nuestros estudiantes sumergirse en nuevas historias, y esperamos que ustedes también hayan disfrutado de momentos de lectura en casa. Al cerrar el tercer trimestre y tomar un breve descanso antes del cuarto, ¡mantengamos vivo ese entusiasmo por aprender! El aprendizaje no solo ocurre en un escritorio; se pueden encontrar "momentos educativos" en cualquier lugar, ya sea contando el cambio en el supermercado, midiendo ingredientes en la cocina o en un viaje por carretera. El Hábito 7 - Afilar la Sierra significa que funcionamos mejor cuando nuestras vidas están equilibradas. El rasgo de carácter de esta semana es "Ser Agraciado/Bondadoso", lo que significa que soy amable conmigo mismo y con los demás. Puedo practicar el Hábito 7 siendo bondadoso conmigo mismo: presto atención a mis necesidades y busco formas de recargar energías para no agobiarme.

¡Nos emociona anunciar que el autobús dental visitará Treeline el 13 y 14 de abril! Esta es una oportunidad fantástica para que los estudiantes reciban exámenes y cuidados dentales convenientes aquí mismo en la escuela.
