Joe Vetter joined the Treeline Family this year as principal. A lifelong Fort Myers resident, Mr. Vetter has been an educator for over 25 years and a Lee County Principal for approximately 16 years. He has worked in the classroom and as an administrator at the elementary, middle and high school level. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and also holds a Master of Science Degree in Administration and Supervision of Schools K-12 from Nova Southeastern University. His awards and recognitions include being named Administrator of the Year by the Lee County School Counselor’s Association, Lee County’s Middle School Principal of the Year for 2003 and was a nominee for the Commissioner’s Principal Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership. He also received the Principal’s Award for Promoting Accomplished Teaching from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. He and his wife Marie live in our neighborhood and he is pleased to be able to serve his community by being at Treeline Elementary. “Success is the only option,” is a motto he lives by. Mrs. Nader has been a part of Treeline Elementary since the school first opened in 2007-2008. She takes great pride in being a part of its creation from the beginning and into what it has evolved to today. She was born and raised in Fort Myers. She went through all levels of school in Lee County, graduating from Fort Myers High School. Before coming to Treeline she was an Assistant Principal at North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts, a K-8 school. This is her fifth year as an administrator. Her time teaching in the classroom was in first and third grade. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and holds a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership K-12 from Nova Southeastern University. At school she enjoys talking with students and seeing their enthusiasm for learning. She believes that ALL students can learn and encourages them to set goals and have high expectations for themselves. When she is not at school she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has three children. The oldest boys are in middle school and the youngest is two. The student's at Treeline know that Mrs. Nader's door is always open for them.
